how it works

You talk. Everything else is Minerva.

Four things happen to every thought you speak — and only the first one involves you.

You talk

Record a voice note the way you already do — in the car, on a walk, mid-thought. Nothing to launch and no forms to fill: Minerva waits quietly in the menu bar and starts the moment a recording lands.

  • No app to open — just speak
  • Picked up within seconds of landing

It understands, not just transcribes

Your voice becomes text, and then Minerva actually reads it — pulling the tasks, the dates and the ideas out of an hour-long ramble or a half-finished sentence, while your notes stay in your own words.

  • Handles long & messy input
  • “Next Thursday” becomes a real date

Everything files itself

Each item lands where it belongs — tasks to Google Tasks, events to your calendar, notes to Notion. The whole pipeline runs in the cloud, so it works even when your Mac is asleep or off.

  • Filed to the tools you already use
  • Always on, even with your Mac off

With you everywhere — and it asks when unsure

Capture from your pocket or your wrist, and when a note is missing one detail, Minerva asks a single tidy question instead of guessing — answered in a tap.

  • iPhone & Apple Watch in beta testing
  • Asks before it guesses
what it sorts

Three kinds of thought, three homes

Minerva tells your to-dos from your appointments from your ideas — and treats each the way it deserves.

Your thinking, kept verbatim and in the first person — your original words preserved, with the filler tidied away.

filed to notion
your words, your places

Calm, and in your control

Minerva files into the tools you already trust, keeps your thinking in your own voice, and asks before it guesses.

  • Filed into your own accounts

Tasks, events and notes go to your Google Tasks, your Google Calendar and your Notion — the places you already use.

  • Your notes stay in your voice

Notes are kept word-for-word in the first person. Minerva never rewrites your thinking — it only removes the "um"s.

  • It asks before it guesses

When a note is missing a detail, Minerva asks you a single clear question rather than filing something half-right.

  • Quiet by design

No noise, no nagging. A small menu-bar app shows you what's been filed and what (if anything) needs a moment.

Good things to know

However you already record voice memos — Minerva watches a cloud folder, so anything that lands there gets processed. The Mac app also has a built-in one-tap recorder if you'd rather capture a thought right there.
In your own accounts: tasks go to Google Tasks, events to Google Calendar, and notes to a Notion database. Minerva files into the tools you already use rather than locking your information inside itself.
Yes. Minerva's pipeline now runs in the cloud, so a note you record is processed whether or not your Mac is awake. That's also what the iPhone and Apple Watch apps, now in beta testing, are built on.
Rather than guess, Minerva asks. You'll get one short, specific question as a notification you can answer from your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Mac — a tap, synced everywhere in seconds. Everything else keeps flowing in the meantime.
Today there's a native Mac menu-bar app, and iPhone + Apple Watch apps are built and in beta testing. Android, Windows and a browser version are planned but not built yet. We label what's live and what's coming honestly; the waitlist is how you'll hear when each one opens.
Yes. Long recordings are handled gracefully, and video files have their audio pulled out automatically. Minerva also resolves dates like "next Thursday" into a real day, using the context of your recent notes.
